Alpha DIY WSER50 30/17 Cassette Awning Motor

    $293.45
Alpha DIY Cassette Awning Motors offer both automatic and manual limit setting, making them perfect for modern external shading systems. The auto inner limit is calibrated by sensing fabric tension on the first close, while the outer limit is manually set using a remote. Once configured, the motor stops when it detects a 25% resistance increase, adjustable up to 50%, 75%, or even 100% for larger cassette awnings. This ensures smooth, accurate operation with minimal need for recalibration. These motors are also compatible with Luxaflex Merger motors and work seamlessly with Sun/Wind and Motion sensors. If the awning is extended and doesn’t receive a sensor pulse for 30 minutes, it will close itself as a safety precaution—ideal for handling sensor failure or low battery situations.

  • Alpha DIY WSER50 50/13 Cassette Awning Motor Product Image

Alpha DIY WSER50 50/13 Cassette Awning Motor

    $318.86

Alpha DIY WSER50 50/13, also called “Cassette Awning” motors, these units auto-set the inner limit based on fabric tension, with manual adjustment available. After manually setting the outer limit via remote, the motor learns its stop point by detecting resistance during the first full close. After this, the motor will stop in this position after detecting an increased resistance of 25% while moving. On larger cassette awnings, 25% is sometimes not enough, so you can increase this to 50%, 75% or 100% if required. It’s rare to need this adjustment, but it’s a good feature to have. Compatible with Luxaflex Merger motors, it also works with sun, wind, or motion sensors, receiving signals every 20 minutes. If no signal is detected for over 30 minutes while extended, it retracts automatically as a safety measure.
