The A-OK ShawSmart AM45 30/17 AC Obstacle Detection External Tubular Motor is a powerful and reliable automation solution designed for medium to large window furnishings. Engineered for high-torque performance and long-lasting durability, this motor is ideal for external blinds, awnings, and roller shutters in both residential and commercial applications.
Thanks to its torque stop function, this motor is ideal for all external straight drop systems. It stops on stoppers at the top limit in side channel setups and helps tension the fabric when the awning is down. A top limit is normally set and works in conjunction with the torque stop feature. It’s compatible with RS001, RS002, Sun/Wind sensors, and Luxaflex Merger motors. When used with Sun/Wind sensors, the motor receives a pulse every 20 minutes; if no signal is received for 30 minutes while the awning is down, it will rise automatically as a safety precaution. The 10/27 and 30/17 versions come with or without Molex connectors, while the 50/13 version is available only with a Molex connector.

The WSER50 G 20/17 Grey Universal is a compact 20Nm motor ideal for external straight drop and zip systems. It offers the same core features as the 30Nm and 50Nm models, including an upward torque stop that halts the awning at stoppers and tensions the fabric when down. A manual top limit can be set alongside the torque stop. Compatible with RS001 and RS002, and suitable for use with sun/wind sensors. When paired with sensors, it auto-retracts the awning if no signal is received for 30 minutes—assuming sensor failure. Also suitable for roller shutters where 20Nm torque is sufficient.
